A Yale University professor has been criticized on social media for a video in which he describes himself as participating in a college program that helps children as young as 3 on their “gender journey.”
“I am the director of the Yale Gender Program, an interdisciplinary program for gender-broadcast individuals and their families aged 3 to 25,” said Yale Professor Christy Olzeski. Social media“We support individuals who have questioned their gender identity or who identify as transgender or non-binary and assist them in their gender journey.
Olezeski added that the program will provide guidance on “medical interventions” and when to initiate the process.
“I love my job,” said Olezesky. “So it’s really, really great to work in this field, to work with gender diverse individuals, to have their support, and to help them on their gender journey.”
