Multiple people were injured in a shooting in northeastern Washington, D.C., Monday night, police said.
Metropolitan Police Commissioner Robert Conte confirmed at a press conference that six people were shot near the 1,500 block on F Street NE around 8:30 p.m.
One person died and five others were taken to hospital, Conti said. All victims are male.
No victims were identified. No information about the suspect was available. Conti said the incident is currently under investigation.

“I am angry and saddened,” said Conti.

The cause of the shooting is unknown and no arrests have been made so far.
