Two Yuvarde city police officers reportedly died for a moment‘A senior sheriff’s deputy told the New York Times on Friday that he had killed 21 people, including 19 children, before shooting a gunman outside Robb Elementary School in Texas.
Deputy Chief of Staff Ricardo Rios, near Zavala County, told the publication that a city police officer armed with AR-15-style weapons hesitated because he was concerned that he could hit his child.
According to Rios, unidentified officers are likely to react in just a few seconds.

Rios said his information was passed on to the agency leading the investigation.
Dustin Burrows, the leader of the investigation, was dissatisfied with the Uvarde police’s lack of cooperation in the investigation earlier this week.

Burroughs later confirmed on Friday that the Yuvarde police would actually cooperate in the investigation.

“It took a little longer than originally expected,” he said, according to the report. “But those conversations have evolved … and they will cooperate.”
It is unknown when the investigation and findings will be announced by the Texas House Commission.
