Drive-by shooting fired at a family barbecue in Texas on Saturday night, killing two and injuring five, officials said.
The shooting took place around 10:13 pm at 2500 blocks of Patron Drive in San Antonio. There the family was barbecuing in their front yard, FOX29 San Antonio quoted police and reported.
“My family was barbecuing in front of my house, someone drove past me, unloaded my luggage, and fired about 20-30 rounds,” Prime Minister William McManus told reporters on the scene.
Gunshots from unknown suspects hit a total of seven people, including five men and two women in their twenties and early forties, according to McManus. Police said two men had been sentenced to death on the scene.
