US Secret Service agents said Tuesday that two of them were hospitalized after being exposed to a “powder substance” suspected of being a drug.
Officers from the Secret Service Uniform Division stopped traffic at the 1700 block on New York Avenue in Washington DC around 11 a.m. Tuesday.
During the stop, officers were contacted by what USSS spokesman Anthony Guglielmi described as “a powdered substance believed to be a suspected drug.”
