White House Chief of Staff Ron Klein said President Biden wasn’t “making storms every day” like his predecessor Trump.
Klain commented on the Politico Playbook Deep Dive podcast released on Friday.
When asked what the media and public most didn’t understand about Mr. Biden, Crane said he didn’t think Mr. Biden was “less out in the world than his predecessor,” saying, “Donald Trump. The president said that the president s—did take up a storm, which led to a string of cable news reports.
Klein continued by saying,[Biden’s] I’m not tweeting random personal attacks on people, getting into culture wars, or stirring the pot to appear on TV. “

In a podcast interview, Klein said he gets more work done when Biden isn’t in Washington, D.C.
“I definitely get more done when he’s not here,” he said. “There is no question about it.”
The White House chief of staff also said the Republican Party has an “extreme MAGA” group that has no plans to bring inflation down.

“The Republican Party has an extreme MAGA group that has no real plan to bring down inflation,” Klein said. “I think that choice [is] Between parties that stand up for specific interests and bring about change, and … extreme parties, well, some of the leaders who talk about abolishing Social Security and Medicare every five years.”
