In downtown Portland, Oregon, a horde of riots was seen breaking windows and destroying several buildings on Saturday night. The group also scribbled several messages for the US Supreme Court.
A group of about 100 people screamed while marching down the street as they regularly stopped to destroy and scribble objects.
A black spray-painted message said, “Death to SCOTUS.”
Members of the group were seen breaking some windows in the Starbucks Coffee building, while others were seen breaking Tesla’s car.

The black car had red spray paint and at least two broken windows.
“Schools will be abolished,” said another graffiti message on a vehicle in the Portland Scholastic League. “ACAB” said another reference to anti-police sentiment.
Another message that the group spray-painted the storage box seems to say, “The court will be cancelled.”

A pedestrian who shouted to the group why he was violent was threatened.
As the night went on, smaller groups of individuals away from the larger mobs were reported to no longer want to be part of their violent behaviour.
A few hours later, the group broke up.
The group’s devastating case occurs the day after a majority of the Supreme Court voted to overturn the Roe v. Wade case, which granted women the right to an abortion.

After the protesters gathered on Friday night, it was also the second night of violence in the city.
The incident in Portland arose in many other protests (mainly peaceful) and violence in cities across the country.
