A shooting in Renton, Washington killed at least one person and injured several on Saturday morning.
Renton police said one person had died and “multiple casualties” were found in response to calls for multiple shots fired on Logan Avenue S shortly before 1 am. At least five victims were treated at the scene, police said.
Police said the shooting was initiated by a “controversy” among people at a “massive rally.”
The suspect has not yet been detained, the agency told Fox News Digital.
Multiple shooters may have been involved in the shooting, according to Renton police.
“Several institutions were asked for help because of the large number of people,” they added.
Police have warned residents to avoid the area as it is still a lively scene.
