Los Angeles district attorney George Gascon’s group advocating for the scallop was forced to evacuate from their office Thursday after receiving suspicious white powder in an envelope.
Envelopes with swastikas were filled with white powdery material and forced to respond to the Los Angeles Police Department, LADF Dangerous Goods, and the bomb squad.
A group at Recall Gascon’s Los Angeles headquarters was also tested to make sure they weren’t exposed to dangerous things. Authorities later decided that the substance was baking soda.
The group told FOX11 Los Angeles that they would receive a lot of harassment emails in their office.

LOS ANGELES DA GEORGE GASCON RECALL GROUP states that it has collected the signatures needed to put issues on ballots.
Gascon has been criticized for his progressive policies in Los Angeles, and some claims are too generous to criminals and protect criminals against victims.

His policy came into the limelight earlier this month when two El Monte police officers were killed by a man under probation after receiving a generous ruling for a judicial deal on gun crime.
