At least two people were killed when gunmen opened fire Sunday night at a Safeway grocery store in Bend, Oregon.
Bend police spokesperson Sheila Miller told Fox News Digital that officers responded to reports of a shooting at a store in northeast Bend just after 7 p.m.
At least one shooter walked through the store’s parking lot and fired a gun, but no casualties from those rounds have been reported.
The gunman then walked into the store and shot and killed a person in front of the store.
The shooter continued walking through the store and shot a second person.
When police arrived at the scene, they found the suspect dead. According to police, according to initial reports, officers did not open fire at the scene.
Bend police said the investigation was still ongoing.
