An Army Paratrooper stationed at Fort Bragg was shot dead outside his Fayetteville, North Carolina apartment this week.
Officer Nicholas Bobo, 22, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in his apartment around 11 p.m. Tuesday, according to WNCN. He was confirmed dead at the scene.

Bobo, an automated logistics expert assigned to the 407th Brigade Support Battalion, has left his wife, daughter, and parents behind. He enlisted in the Army in his 2019 and has been stationed at Fort Bragg since 2019.

Investigators said they did not believe it was an accidental shooting and that Bobo’s car was stolen, WNCN reports.
The Army Criminal Investigative Command and the Fayetteville Police Department are investigating the case.
