College students in Norfolk, Virginia, were shot in an off-campus building early Sunday morning, injuring seven and shutting down a nearby hospital.
The Norfolk Police Department said it received a call about the shooting at 5000 Block Killham Avenue around 12:00 am.
Police said seven people were taken to hospital, five of them with non-life-threatening injuries and two with life-threatening injuries.
Norfolk State University tweeted that several students were the victims of the shooting “at an isolated off-campus location near 50th Street and Hampton Boulevard.”
