Inmates inside the Orleans Justice Center in New Orleans have barricaded themselves inside the pod and created a list of demands to remedy the situation.
Inmates’ long list of demands from prison staff includes better food and medicine, more books, and a second TV to watch the Saints game, among others.
Other requests from inmates include alternating lockdown changes and requests for washers, dryers and kiosks.
Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hutson’s office told Fox News that residents of the heavily guarded Pod 2E were refusing to enter their cells and were following police orders to remove barricades from the pod’s entrance. Told.
