Sex workers and 160 sex workers, including top Georgia police officers, have been arrested in a sexual sting operation in Florida, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.
The week-long sting operation, dubbed “Operation Fall Haul II,” was aimed at finding victims of sex trafficking, the sheriff’s office said.
According to Sheriff Grady Judd, investigators found at least two sex trafficking victims during the operation.

“Our goal is to start the service the moment they are detained and treat them as victims and not as suspects in criminal cases,” Judd said at a press conference.
Among those arrested in the operation were two Disney employees, a state correctional officer, several teachers, and the Georgia Deputy Police Chief.
Cameron Burke was a high school IT professional from the city of Ocoee who was arrested for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old student. He was released on bail and arrested during a sting operation for soliciting prostitutes.
Osceola County math teacher Carlos Gonzalez and Orange County physical education teacher John Layton were also arrested.
Judd said Jason Diprima, deputy chief of the Cartersville, Georgia Police Department, “is no longer a police officer.”

The Cartersville Police Department said in a press release that Diprima resigned Thursday.
Diprima was arrested for soliciting another person for prostitution, obscenity, or assignment.
