Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon said at a press conference Wednesday that Dersid will be charged with felony counts of murder, attempted robbery and possession of a firearm and could face a life sentence.
Solorio joined the Monterey Park Police Department in January after graduating from County Sheriff’s School on July 22nd. He started his training on the field on July 25th.
