Two people were killed and five were injured in a shooting in a park in the Los Angeles area on Sunday afternoon, police said.
Los Angeles police told Fox News Digital that several people had been shot dead at Peck Park in the San Pedro area of Los Angeles, California, with seven casualties later.
Police said they received a 911 call at around 3:45 pm and answered Peck Park, where multiple victims were found.
According to police, rescue workers transferred seven victims to a local hospital, and two of the shooting victims were later sentenced to death.

The other five victims were being treated for various injuries.
The Los Angeles Police Department found a “number of firearms” on the scene. In the statement, they did not identify how many suspects were believed to be involved.
The LAPD also did not reveal whether the shooting was believed to be related to the gang.
