Since last month, the Los Angeles Police Department has released footage of a gunshot dash cam and body camera that allegedly shot and killed a man armed with a gun and shot the police.
In a statement, the Los Angeles Police Department called for caution on June 19 at about 10:40 pm on a radio phone of a man with a gun near Van Nise Boulevard and Laurel Canyon Boulevard. After the police arrived in the area, they found a man with a firearm that matched the suspect’s description.
The policeman then got out of the car and used the car door for protection. A police officer shouted an order to the suspect but was ignored. The suspect bravely pulled a gun from his waist and began firing at the police, appearing to be in the video.

According to the LAPD, investigations are underway to determine if the use of force by police officers is justified. The agency said a specialized unit investigation department had responded to the scene, interviewed witnesses, and oversaw the evidence collected.
“A complete investigation will be reviewed by the police chief, police committee, and inspector general to determine whether the thoroughness and accuracy of the investigation and the use of lethal force are in compliance with LAPD policies and procedures. “LAPD said in its statement.
The suspect, Lee Zeldin, was charged with a felony and released immediately, as parliamentarians expected.
