The Iranian army has announced the deaths of two aerospace employees. This is the latest in a series of mysterious deaths in recent weeks that have signaled a danger to the country’s internal affairs.
Iran International reported on Sunday that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced the death of Ali Kamani, a member of the Aerospace Forces working in Markazi Province.
Mission “Martyr”
According to the IRGC, Kamani died in a “car accident” during a mission in the western city of Komain, about 200 miles southwest of the capital Tehran.
Another member of the IRGC Aerospace Force, Mohammad Abdus, also died “on duty” while working in the northern province of Semnan, Iran International reported.

It was not immediately clear which mission the two men were performing, or what their role was within the Aerospace Forces.
Possibility of assassination
Iran’s aerospace scientist Ayoob Entezari died less than a week after he was assassinated or died of food poisoning.
Entezari has a PhD. Iran International reported that in the fields of mechanical engineering and aerospace engineering, his death was described by the Yazd Governor’s Office as “martyrdom.”
According to the report, the Yazd judiciary later issued a statement that contradicted this explanation, downplaying Entezari’s efforts against the aerospace force.
