A boat carrying at least 12 people capsized on the Hudson River on Tuesday afternoon urged multiple agencies to respond.
The boat overturned at West 46th Street and Pier 84 in Midtown Manhattan after 2:45 pm.
The two were rescued by police and the fire department, while other agencies rescued the rest.
According to police, a seven-year-old boy was taken to Bellevue Hospital and a woman in her twenties was taken to Roosevelt Hospital. Both are in crisis.

Another is said to be seriously injured, but not life-threatening. Others were slightly injured and did not need medical assistance.
