Seven people were shot and one died outside a bar in a mass shooting in Florida.
The shooting occurred just before 3 a.m. Sunday morning outside the LIT Cigar & Martini Lounge in Tampa, Fla., after a large brawl broke out. Fox 13.
According to Tampa Police Chief Mary O’Connor, the suspect left the bar, obtained a weapon, and returned to the facility.
O’Connor said at least one person opened fire as the fight spilled into the street.

One of the murdered was from California who had visited Tampa for a wedding.
Two women and four men were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The police chief said the suspect “disrespects” human life.
“The suspects have a clear disregard for human life. It’s a disturbing set of circumstances as they opened fire on a crowd who were doing nothing but celebrating here on Franklin Street,” O’Connor said. “At 3am, alcohol and guns don’t go well together.”
