Law enforcement officials in Florida arrested two suspects this week after they intercepted a package containing 87 pounds of marijuana at UPS outside St. Petersburg last year, according to reports.
Benny Neely, 41, was arrested Wednesday on charges of first-degree felony cannabis trafficking and third-degree felony marijuana importation, according to court records.
Corey Jovan Brown, 38, was arrested Friday on the same charges.

Police initially found two large boxes containing 87 pounds of “marijuana plant material” at UPS’s location in Pinellas Park on February 13, 2021, according to WFLA.

Two men were identified as suspects from the shipment’s tracking numbers, according to local news outlets.
Both suspects were later released on bail, according to court records.
