Florida officials are searching for a “violent and dangerous criminal” who allegedly unintentionally injected, duct taped and stabbed a victim in last week’s attempted murder.
The incident occurred Monday night in Tampa when two suspects conspired to kill a known associate they believed would report illegal activity to police, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. did.
Investigators said the two suspects forced the victim into the bathroom of a house on Block 5300 on Garden Lane, where they attacked and detained him.
The victim survived the attack and was taken to Tampa General Hospital, where he is in stable condition, the sheriff’s office said.

Investigators identified and arrested one of the suspects, 44-year-old Ciriaco DelaCruz. He faces multiple charges, including attempted first-degree murder with a weapon.
The second suspect is currently only known as “TC,” detectives said.
Lawmakers described “TC” as a white Hispanic male, about 28 to 33 years old, 6 feet tall, with a slim build, short black hair, and a short black beard. The suspect is believed to have at least two tattoos, including a flame on his neck and a pentagram on one arm.
“This is a violent and dangerous criminal who must be found and arrested,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said in a statement.

Authorities urged the public to stay away from “TC” and instead call the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office at (813) 247-8200 to provide information on his whereabouts.
