Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin tested negative for drugs on Monday after a controversial video of her dancing in a nightclub was leaked last week.
Following last week’s leaks, a video of Marin, 36, partying with a Finnish celebrity has gone viral on social media. Critics urged her to take her drug test after her incident, and she complied.
According to Reuters, Marin said he was tested on Friday and the results were negative on Monday.
Malin hit back at critics last week, saying he wouldn’t change anything about his lifestyle.
“I have a family life, I have a work life, and I have free time to spend with my friends. It’s pretty much like many people my age,” she said at the time.

“I’m going to be exactly the same person I’ve been, and I hope that’s accepted,” she added.

Marin is the youngest head of state in the world. The last time her nighttime activities drew attention was when she showed up at a Finnish nightclub after being exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
Marin faced further criticism in an incident in which she left her government phone at home while on a night out.
