Colorado Fentanyl Epilepsy Attack This year has already surpassed all of last year, officials say
Bill Berkeley, captain of the Colorado Patrol Smuggling, Trafficking and Prevention Unit, said authorities have not disclosed the driver’s identity because of possible retaliation from the Mexican cartel, why the car stopped. Did not mention.
“They don’t care about anything other than making money,” Berkeley said.
Berkeley said drug investigations are being conducted in collaboration with the Drug Enforcement Department.
Students at a school in Los Angeles are taking ecstasy pills with fentanyl, the supervisor says.
He said the drug continued to pour into the United States and Colorado, and that the cartel was “designing” the trap compartment.
“This is a continuous cat and mouse game between law enforcement and cartels. They actually hire people to design trap compartments,” Berkeley said. “Whether it’s an I-70, an I-25, or a secondary highway that enters our state, I think there’s something every hour every day.”
