Chicago police have arrested Gerald Posadas, 25, after leaked footage last week of him attempting to kidnap a little girl from her mother.
Chicago police have arrested Posadas at least five times, the first of which dates back to 2014.
When the mother refused, Posadas tried to take the girl and grabbed her by the hair. Her mother was able to pull her daughter back and escape, and Posadas fled the scene.
Records show that Posadas was first arrested in 2014 at the age of 18 for desecrating property. He was then arrested again in 2017 on charges of selling or possessing a weapon.
