A Chicago man accused of ramming a car into a group of people outside a famous Chicago gay bar, killing three and injuring one, has been arrested and charged with murder, police said. said on Tuesday.

Detectives determined that Dunbar had been at a bar prior to the incident, but there was no indication that he had a fight or argument with anyone before he left.
Prosecutors said Dunbar got into the car, drove off at about 60 miles an hour, said he “never hit the brakes”, and then smashed into four people, three of whom died.
Denihan said police identified Dunbar as a suspect through an anonymous tip and review of surveillance camera footage, leaving the car some distance from the incident to head to the apartment where he called for help. I tracked Dunbar down as he walked.

Cook County Judge Susana Ortiz ordered Dunbar to be jailed without bail at a hearing on Tuesday.
