An Oakland ice cream shop was robbed by brazen thieves on Wednesday, just months after another robbery nearly destroyed business in Northern California this summer.
At 4:45 am on Wednesday, thieves broke into the Flavor Brigade in Auckland’s Diamond District. The suspect stole tie-dyed shirts, a safe, cash and tools, according to the business. Footage shows the hooded suspect suspiciously walking out of the store and then entering.
Mailbox, a nearby mailbox rental service, confirmed the same suspect stole a key copier and a cash register on Wednesday morning.
The ice cream parlor posted a surveillance video on Instagram on Thursday in an attempt to find the suspect.

The latest incident comes three months after another assailant rammed a car into a Flavor Brigade storefront, nearly destroying the business.
Surveillance video from the July incident shows a car crashing through a store window. The robber is seen moving furniture to allow a car to break in before stealing his ATM for the company and taking off.
Concerns escalate over San Francisco’s rising crime hurting businesses
Braedon Galloway appeared on “Fox & Friends First” in July to discuss the incident. He wasn’t surprised by the robbery, even though he believed Auckland had “a lot of great people.”
“This has been the pattern in our neighborhood for the past few years,” Galloway explained.
The Flavor Brigade reopened in August after members of the community came together to raise money and help Galloway rebuild its business. But the recent robbery demoralized the employees.
“When the car passed, I was like, ‘Good, we have another problem.'” First there was the pandemic. Then there was this. Now we have this,” employee Steve Howell told Fox 2 San Francisco.
