A Brooklyn man saved a five-year-old boy from drowning in a public pool after a spectator, and even a pool guard did nothing on Saturday.
According to the Daily Mail, Anthony Torres, 37, was in a public pool in Brooklyn on Saturday when the turmoil began after people noticed a little boy stuck at the bottom of the pool.
Former lifeguard Torres saw no one taking action and immediately jumped in to regain the boy.
“I was swimming with my sister in the pool, and I saw a little boy lying in the water, and I shouted for someone to come,” Torres told reporters.
