At least five people were injured when a boat exploded on New York’s Long Island late Friday afternoon.
Six men were on board the boat at the time of the incident.

Around 5 p.m., the crew responded to reports of a boat fire near Sampwans Avenue in Babylon, New York, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
Four were taken to a local hospital and one was seriously injured and had to be airlifted to Stony Brook Medical Center.

Police are currently investigating the cause of the explosion.
