“We were thrilled when the Rocky Mountain Vibes team came to us and asked if we could partner with Family Night. We are very disappointed and confused by the decision,” Stokes President Diane Ferraro said in a statement. “UCHealth, a company that claims to provide care for women and families, is closing its special evenings for women.”
Ferraro also said the event sold 3,000 tickets. Now she is pleading with those who bought the tickets to seek a refund.
Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh outraged by pro-life remarks
“We are encouraging our supporters to request ticket refunds and not attend events that no longer welcome families,” she said.
Julie Bailey, vice president of Pikes Peak Citizens for Life, said the team emailed the two organizations news of the cancellation at 10:30 a.m. local time on Friday.
“We’re very disappointed,” Bailey told Fox News Digital. “We’ve been working on this for months.
“It’s just a reflection of the culture we’re in.”
