Alabama murder suspect Casey White and now-deceased prison guard Vicki White escaped after sharing nearly 1,000 phone calls while in prison and were subsequently hunted by police. was done.
Lauderdale County Sheriff Rick Singleton said investigators believe the two unrelated people may have attempted a getaway over the phone during a conversation that took place between August and February 2021. WAFF-TV reported.

After the escape on April 29, the two fled for 11 days before Casey White was arrested in Indiana. Vicki White died shortly after being shot in the head during a police chase.
Months before her escape, she allegedly sold her home for about half what she could have gotten, and had about $90,000 in cash when she and Casey fled. April 29th was the last day before retirement.
She was charged with forgery, identity theft, and allowing/facilitating an escape.
