Four children are killed and three injured when an unexploded ordnance in a classroom in Afghanistan explodes.
The incident in Afghanistan’s Helmand province occurred when children discovered an unexploded ordnance and took it to a religious school to play with, according to a statement from the state police department.
At least three of the children were injured, according to a police statement.
Local officials said three of the children died instantly, and an unidentified doctor at a local hospital said another woman’s child later died from her injuries.
