Monday
Oath 9 p.m. on HBO. This documentary series about Keith Raniere and his “sex cult” Nxivm begins its second season. In 2020, Raniere was sentenced to 120 years in prison for sex trafficking and other crimes. This series of episodes will focus more on Raniere and his inner circle as his trial takes place.
Tuesday
Beetlejuice (1988) Freeform at 9pm. Tim Burton’s comedy starring Michael Keaton and Wynonna Ryder is a must-have for spooky season. Keaton plays the lead character hired by a recently deceased couple (Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis) to scare the new (living) inhabitants of their home. The film was adapted into his Broadway musical of the same name, which closes in January after nearly 700 performances.
Year 1: Political Odyssey 9 p.m. on HBO. From Inauguration Day 2021 to the State of the Union Address in 2022, this documentary explores the impact of the January 6 attacks, efforts to encourage vaccination against Covid-19, the withdrawal from Afghanistan, and some of Russia’s To name the events of the invasion of Ukraine. Also included is an interview with Secretary of State Anthony J. Brinken. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin. and David E. Sanger of The New York Times himself.
american horror story 10pm on FX. In the 11th installment of Ryan Murphy’s anthology series, mysterious deaths continue around New York City despite a 3% drop in murders in the United States. Starring Zachary Quinto, Patti LuPone, and Billie Lourd — all AHS veterans. Murphy recently received backlash from the families of Jeffrey Dahmer victims for his show Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.
Documentary now! 10pm at IFC. Each episode of this fake documentary series is inspired by a real documentary, and the writers and actors are ridiculously goofy. Created by Saturday Night Live alums Seth Meyers, Fred Armisen, and Bill Hader, the show featured two episodes of his first episode inspired by the 1982 documentary Burden of Dreams. Start 4 seasons. Written by John Mulaney, this version stars Cate Blanchett as an eccentric filmmaker, and Nicholas Braun plays a moviegoer who mistakes an arthouse cinema for a porn theater.
Thursday
Jersey Shore Family Vacation 8 p.m. on MTV. It’s hard to believe that in 2022 you’ll still be fist pumping with your favorite party animal. The “Family Vacation” spin-off, which follows Snooki, her crew, and their chicks as they travel across the country, has been filmed longer than the original “Jersey Shore” series. The entire team is coming together for a reunion to wrap up the fifth season and dedicate more time to delicious reality TV.
MIKA: Live at the Paris Philharmonic 10 p.m. on PBS (check local listings). Lebanese British pop singer Mika, known for songs like “Lollipop,” “Grace Kelly,” and “Happy Ending/Over My Shoulder,” brought her talents to the Paris Philharmonic Orchestra, where she performed in the orchestra. and perform with the choir.
Friday
The Terrible Truth (1937) 8pm at TCM. Cary Grant and Eileen Dunn play divorcing couple Jerry and Lucy. The film is based on the 1922 play of the same name.
Silver Lining Playbook (2012) 10:49 p.m. at Stars. This movie by David O. Russell is full of laughs, tears and references to the Philadelphia Eagles. Bradley Cooper stars as Pat, who moves back in with his parents after being admitted to a mental hospital. Played by Jennifer Lawrence, Tiffany is a young widow who promises to help Pat win her back if she enters a dance competition with her estranged wife. Russell’s “film contains a wide variety of issues and character types,” Manohra Dargis wrote in her review of the film for The Times. “More taut drug addicts than alcohol-soaked swells — but like the classics of form, they’re zippy, sometimes furiously paced, with rapid-fire zing and physical comedy.” The world.”

CRISS ANGEL’S MAGIC WITH THE STARS 8 p.m. CW. Magic like in “Dancing with the Stars”? Each week, celebrity contestants will learn tricks and illusions created by Chris Angel and perform them in front of a panel of judges. Corbin Bleu and Miles Brown show off their sleight of hand this week. Next week we have Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Omarion. Finally, the celebrities with the highest scores are invited to compete for the golden cane.
Sunday
BMF: The Rise and Fall of a Hip-Hop Drug Empire 10:05 p.m. at Stars. This eight-part series examines the true story of the drug trafficking and money laundering activities of a Detroit-based black mafia family. It will feature interviews with Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and other leaders of his ring. This documentary series, a companion to the network’s scripted series Black Mafia Families, returns for a second season this fall.
