Monday
all american 8 p.m. CW. Based loosely on the life of NFL linebacker Spencer Paisinger, who serves as a consulting producer, the show returns for its fifth season. Spring saw Spencer (Daniel Ezra) and the rest of his group graduate from high school and take steps toward their future. It’s not even Halloween yet, but this episode gets us into the holiday mood — Spencer, JJ (Hunter Crowdas), and Usher (Cody Christian) throw a Christmas party to impress the girls.
Avenue 5 10 p.m. on HBO. The year is 2060, and ocean cruises are ending and space cruises are beginning. That’s the premise of this show as it enters its second season, starring Hugh Laurie, Josh Gad, and Zach Woods.
