Republicans won the congressional baseball game for charity Thursday night in Washington, D.C. A rain delay disrupted the game.
The Republicans beat the Democrats 0-4 in the four innings before the postponement, and finally shut out their opponents 10-0 to win the friendly match.
Lawmakers first headed to the field at Nationals Park, where the Washington Nationals play. The game has continued the bipartisan tradition every year since the first game took place in 1909.
Players wore the jerseys of their respective district or state teams.
