Arrested were Jake Plankett, Allison Martinez, Tyrone Dean, Stephen Lomond, Nicoletta Green, Brendan Harley, Josh Kamaz, and David Feldman. Robert Smigel, the puppeteer of Colbert’s show character “Triumph the Insult Comic Dog,” was also arrested.

Parliamentary police answered a call about the uproar at the Longworth House office building around 8:30 pm, found a group of staff, and arrested them.

“The corresponding police officer observed seven individuals without parliamentary IDs in the corridor on the sixth floor, without escorts,” the agency said in a statement. “The building is closed to visitors and these individuals have been determined to be part of a group instructed by the USCP to leave the building early in the day.”
The USCP said their agency is actively investigating the case and that their investigation “may lead to additional criminal charges.”
