Former President Trump said on Monday that his Mar-a-Lago, Florida home was “besieged” by a “massive group” of FBI agents.
President Trump said, “Never before has this happened to a President of the United States. As a result of working and cooperating with relevant government agencies, such an unannounced raid on my home was neither necessary nor appropriate.” ‘ said. “It’s prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the judicial system, and an attack by the far-left Democrats, who, based in particular on recent polls, desperately want me to run for president in 2024, as well. I’ll do anything to block the Republican Party and the election, the Conservatives in the next midterm elections.”
“Such an attack could only happen in a broken third world country. Sadly, America is now one of the most corrupt nations ever,” Trump said. He claimed that an FBI agent broke into his safe.
“What’s the difference between this and Watergate, where operatives broke into the Democratic National Committee?” he said. “Here, on the contrary, the Democrats broke into the house of the 45th President of the United States.”

Multiple sources say the FBI’s Mar-a-Lago raid is linked to materials that President Trump allegedly brought into his private residence after completing his presidency. The matter was referred to the Department of Justice by the National Archives and Records Administration, which said classified material was found in 15 boxes in his residence.
Federal law prohibits moving classified documents to unauthorized locations, but it’s possible Trump will try to claim that as president he has ultimate declassification powers.
Fox News learned that Trump was in New York City when the investigation took place. FBI sources confirmed that her FBI agent in Washington, D.C., who is on the Bureau of Investigation’s Evidence Response Team, conducted the raid and shortly before Miami he notified Fields her office.
According to standard protocol, FBI Director Wray and Attorney General Garland would have been aware of the raid, even immediately before it, and had been fully briefed.
Separate investigations into efforts by Trump allies to undo the results of the 2020 presidential election and the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riots have intensified in Washington in recent weeks, particularly in January. A congressional committee on the 6th held a public hearing and made its remarks.
