President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will be the only U.S. delegates to attend Queen Elizabeth II’s official funeral in London on Monday, while other senior U.S. officials, including the former U.S. president, will be in Washington, D.C. has been invited to attend the Queen’s memorial service.
All five living former U.S. presidents, including Donald Trump, Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, will attend the British Embassy at Washington National Cathedral in Washington DC next week.
“The Cathedral, in partnership with the British Embassy, is honored to host a celebration of the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Wednesday 21 September,” the National Cathedral said in a statement. .
The service will be streamed online and open to the public.
