Jones took what appeared to be a normal hit to Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, resulting in a fumble and a recovery. Instead, the umpire threw the flag, giving the Raiders 15 extra yards and another set of downs.

The NFL and NFLPA revised concussion protocols ahead of the start of Week 5 after Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a horrific head injury in a game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The new rule applies to Tagovailoa backup Teddy Bridgewater, who was sidelined from Sunday’s game against the New York Jets. Bridgewater passed a concussion test, but spotters believed the quarterback may have suffered from ataxia, which was added to the “no trespassing” list.
Bridgewater was ruled out and Skyler Thompson was brought into the game.
