Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers stave off the Atlanta Falcons’ comeback attempt on Sunday to win their Week 5 matchup 21-15.
The win may have meant more to the seven-time Super Bowl champion.
The 45-year-old NFL legend has dealt with rumors of a troubled marriage with supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen. The Buccaneers star and Bündchen were spotted without their wedding rings.

People magazine reported that both Bündchen and Bündchen had hired divorce attorneys, and that Bündchen had been working with them for “several weeks.” I’m thinking of a way to split it.
But for at least three hours on Sunday, Brady put the drama behind to handle business with the Falcons.
He went 52-for-35 passing with 351 passing yards and a touchdown pass to Leonard Fournette. Tampa Bay took his third win of the season and helped him regain first place in the NFC South.
It was the second straight game Brady passed the 300-yard passing mark and the first time he did so in back-to-back regular season games since Weeks 16 and 17 of last season. It was Brady’s 40th 300-yard game since turning 40, according to the Associated Press.

Brady hasn’t spoken publicly about his personal life since rumors started swirling about him and Bündchen last month. On the podcast, Brady said he needed to do a better job of keeping his emotions in check, the day after he slammed his tablet in frustration.
“I have to really care about moving forward and putting my emotions in a good place so that I can be the best player I can be. Being overly emotional is important.” I think so. I definitely think so. I was yesterday.”
When asked what makes him so emotional, Brady replied, When you’re young, it’s normal to feel that winning is enough, but as you get older and have some success, you think you should be perfect, which is unfortunately not the case.”
The two were reportedly staying at separate homes in Miami as Hurricane Ian made its way over the Florida coast late last month.
Either way, Brady has been known to leave the outside noise of football behind and handle business in the sport he’s dominated for years.
