The company said Sunday that long-time professional wrestling referee Tim White, who worked for WWE, had died. He was 68 years old.
White has worked for WWE for over 20 years. He started working with Andre the Giant and was a part-time referee when he started in 1985. He is the Undertaker and King of the Ring humans.

“Shoulder injuries effectively ended White’s in-ring career, but White remained a major part of WWE working behind the scenes as an official and talent agent until 2009,” WWE said.
“WWE condolences to White’s family, friends and fans.”
WWE stars Shawn Michaels and Big E were one of the people who paid homage to the referee.
He is the second WWE referee who died on the weekend.

The company announced the death of Dave Hebner on Saturday.
Hebner was the referee for the Randy Savage and Ricky Steamboat match at WrestleMania III and the Savage and Hulk Hogan match at WrestleMania V. WWE also noted the famous moment between Hebner and his brother in 1988.
