Serena Williams seems to take it all in.
Williams has announced her intention to retire after this season, with the US Open widely expected to be her final event.
So she will play with her sister again.
The Williams sisters at the US Open accepted a wildcard entry Compete in the US Open doubles tournament at Flushing Meadows.
The sisters will team up for the first time since the 2018 French Open. The two have won 14 doubles titles, the second most in women’s doubles history, but not since Wimbledon in 2016.
Together they won Flushing Meadows twice (1999 and 2009) and three Olympic gold medals together (2000, 2008 and 2012). They have never lost in a doubles Grand Slam final.
Serena Williams reveals plans to retire after store opens
Serena will face Danka Kovinic on Monday night as she seeks to complete her 24th Grand Slam. Venus could take her eighth victory, with her first-round match against Alison Huang in his Witbank on Tuesday afternoon.
Serena has won the US Open six times and has reached the final ten times. Venus is her 2-1 in the US Open final and her 1-1 against her sister.
