It’s been a rough 14 months for J.K. Dobbins, who was placed on injured reserve Saturday after having the same knee scoped earlier this week after missing all of last year with a torn ACL.
Dobbins’ knee strained against the New York Giants last Sunday and he missed the entire second half. He also didn’t see a snap in the fourth quarter against the Cincinnati Bengals last week.

Dobbins missed the first two games of the season as a precaution, but when he returned in Week 3, he was on snap count.
He played only half of the snap in Week 4, but was still able to score two touchdowns.
However, by week 5, that number had dropped to 40%.

Dobbins was drafted out of Ohio State in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft and made an immediate impact. He led the NFL that season with his 6.6 yards per carry and scored 13 touchdowns (9 rushing, 4 receiving).
Kenya’s Drake made up for Dobbins’ absence last week nicely. He ran for 119 yards on 10 carries, one of which was a touchdown.
With Dobbins’ move to IR, the Baltimore Ravens have recalled Gus Edwards from their PUP list.
In the four games he played, Dobbins had 123 yards on 35 carries, a touchdown (3.5 YPC) and 39 yards and a score on six passes.
