Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Jack Suwinski made history on Sunday against the San Francisco Giants.
Swinski hit a goodbye home run from the Giants’ relief Tyler Rogers, giving Pirates a 4-3 victory after losing 11 of the last 12 games. This was Suwinski’s second home run of the season, but it’s not where he entered the history of baseball.

The young slugger beat the Giants and hit three home runs. According to Elias Sports Bureau, he hit three home runs and became the first rookie to finish the game at the walkoff.
“I’m like,’No way, a man. I can’t help. That man is hard to beat. Coming from the lower part below, it’s not easy to turn at bat,” Swinsky said.

Pirates manager Derek Shelton said the outfielder had asked Suwinski if he was ready for his third home run, and Shelton said he was told “no.”
“I wasn’t trying to think about it,” said the 23-year-old. “You start trying to overdo it, then just blow it off or do something. I was trying to focus on what the pitcher had, without thinking about it.”
