Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, responding to a request for a written statement by the Pennsylvania House of Representatives Special Committee on Restoring Law and Order, said he was “totally disappointed” with the approach to impeaching him. “A political point.”

He concluded his letter to the task force by writing that he would like to discuss “criminal prosecution and public safety” but would not do so unless “we are not asking for political talking points right before the election.”
