Pelicans’ CJ McCallum is in New Orleans.
The Pelicans and the Guard have agreed to a two-year contract extension worth $64 million, according to multiple reports.

New Orleans acquired McCallum from the Portland Trail Blazers just before the trade deadline last year. McCollum was due to become a free agent after the 2023-24 season before signing.
McCallum, now 31, averaged 24.3 points per game last season with the Pelicans, helping the Pelicans reach the playoffs for the first time since the 2017-18 season. They were the No. 8 seed and lost in six games to the No. 1 Phoenix Suns.

McCallum will be joined by Zion Williamson, who missed last season with a foot injury. He is allowed to play without restrictions.
Williamson, McCallum and Brandon Ingram are currently under contract for the next four seasons.

In his career, McCollum has averaged 19.2 points per game, but has averaged over 20 over the past seven seasons.
