The University of Oregon football team will wear a special decal of Webb’s number 4 on the back of his helmet to honor Spencer Webb during Saturday’s Week 1 game against the Georgia Bulldogs.
Webb, 22, died in July after falling while climbing a cliff near Eugene, Oregon.
Tight end Webb was gearing up for his fourth season with the Oregon football team.

Webb wore number 18 during his first three years at the University of Oregon, but switched to number 4 for the 2022 college football season.

Webb’s girlfriend, model Kelly Kay announced that she was pregnant with Web’s kid in an August Instagram post.
