The NFL famously began cracking down on unsportsmanlike conduct and provocation last season, and it continued into Week 1.
The league issued five fines for unsportsmanlike conduct and provocation, totaling $54,783. According to NFL.com.
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jamar Chase was hit hardest considering he was penalized twice. One fine for him was $13,261 and another for him was $10,609.

Buffalo Bills guard Stephon Diggs was fined $10,609 for taunting Los Angeles Rams guard Jaren Ramsey after a 53-yard touchdown in the season opener.

Seattle Seahawks forward Jamal Adams, who is out of the season with a quadriceps injury, was also fined the same amount.
Chicago Bears cornerback Dane Jackson was fined $4,972 for provocation, while Denver Broncos linebacker Jonathon Cooper was hit $4,723.
According to Spotac, fines of $661,871 were paid for 70 counts of unsportsmanlike conduct and swearing violations.
