The Golden State Warriors took advantage of Jordan Poole’s buzzer beater momentum in the third quarter to build a big lead, never looking back and defeating the Boston Celtics 104-94.
The Warriors have won one victory since winning their fourth NBA Championship since 2015.

Andrew Wiggins stepped up when the Golden State needed him most. Wiggins had to lead in the scoring category as Stephen Curry struggled across the arc. He finished with 26 points in a 12-of-23 shot. He added 13 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in the win.
Wiggins threw a malicious dunk at Derrick White and remained in the game at around 2:05, blocking the victory.
Wiggins said he wanted to tell everyone in the dunk he threw, “We are here.”
“We are hungry. We want this,” he added.
Curry was 7 to 22 from the field, including a shocking 0 to 9 from the three-point line. He managed to finish with 16 points, 8 assists and 3 rebounds. Klay Thompson was the only Warriors starter to add 21 points and shoot 3 points.

The Golden State took a considerable lead in half-time and entered the 51-39 breakup.
But Boston is back from the hot locker room. The team missed the first 12 3 pointers in the first half, but made a 3rd 8 straight to take the lead. The Golden State was struggling – at some point missed 14 consecutive shots from a long distance.
It was the pool that helped bring the team and fans back into the game.

Game 6 of the NBA Finals will take place Thursday night in Boston at 9pm EST. The Warriors’ victory brings the Golden State the seventh championship in franchise history. The Celtics victory forces Round 7 and sends the series back to San Francisco.
