The bullring at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway hosted the historic ARCA Menards Series West Race on Friday night, with the first mother-daughter duo on the course.
Bridget and Sarah Burgess left their mark on the Star Nursery 150. Both drivers were able to complete the race, but lost out to Taylor Gray in the No. 71 DGR Ford. Bridget his Burgess beat his mother to finish his 12th and Sarah his 17th.

But the result didn’t matter. It was all about sharing and having fun on the racetrack experience.
“I’m very happy with her and would love to do it again,” Bridget Burgess told NBC Sports after the race. So I’m really happy to have a mom, I think it’s hard because she has no oval racing experience, and I think it’s hard for her to ride an ARCA car at the bullring, it was modified before the ARCA I gave my mother a lot of props because I think she had a hard time because she was so tired.
Sarah Burgess was very happy to compete next to her daughter.

“I’m amazed. This was such an amazing experience….The race was phenomenal.I had so much fun there.I was actually right next to Brigitte once on a restart.It was really cool.” So I hope someone takes a picture of it,” she said.
The Burgess family is originally from Australia but moved to the United States to pursue their racing dreams. Sarah Burgess is the owner and chief of her crew at her race team based in Thule, Utah.
Bridgette Burgess has four top 10 finishes this season.

The ARCA Menards Series West will wrap up the 2022 season in Phoenix on November 4th.
